Interior & Spatial Designer

About

I am an emerging Interior and Spatial Designer based in Southern Queensland, Australia. Inspired by the natural landscapes of my upbringing on a lucerne farm, my work explores the connection between people, place, and the built environment through thoughtful, human-centred design.

My portfolio showcases projects across commercial interiors, hospitality, hotel design, and residential renovation, reflecting my passion for creating spaces that are both functional and emotionally engaging. My design process combines research, sketching, material exploration, and creative problem-solving to transform ideas into immersive environments that tell meaningful stories.

Guided by my love of nature, materiality, and visual storytelling, I aim to create interiors that evoke emotion, foster connection, and celebrate the quiet beauty of the natural world. I also embrace thoughtful design principles, considering sustainability and accessibility where they can enhance the overall experience and longevity of a space.

Mission
To transform ideas into purposeful and engaging spaces through creativity, collaboration, and storytelling.

Vision
To create meaningful interior environments that connect people with nature and enrich everyday experiences through thoughtful design.

The Practice

BROOKLYN'S DESIGN RULES:

01 — Design for the feeling.
A space should do more than look good , it should create an experience.

02 — Let the materials speak.
Texture, colour and materiality can completely transform the way a space feels.

A FEW THINGS I BELIEVE ABOUT DESIGN:

01 — People should always come first.
Because a successful space responds to the people who use and experience it.

02 — Every space should tell a story.
Because design can communicate identity, place, culture and purpose.
